| Now I'm sure that fans of "The Chapelle Show" have seen the skit "The Niggar Family". Well today I saw a video of a new Japanese show called "Tokyo Breakfast". It's exaclty like Chapelle's Skit. |

Actually Tokyo Breakfast came first but it is different than Dave's sketch. Sure there are some similarities but the Tokyo breakfast deal was pretty basic.

That video is NOT Japanese produced. There are 1 or 2 Japanese people in that video the rest are either Chinese or Korean. I'm not Japanese either but I acted in Tokyo for 7 years & know that a Japanese director or producer WOULD NEVER cast a role in Japanese to Chinese girl.
From looking at it I thought the same too until the young girl spoke. She's not Japanese. Every Japanese director I know, would know tons of young girls to act for free. It's just a reality.
Plus the credits aren't Japanese names...

| I didn't know that the cast wasn't all japanese. When I saw the title "Tokyo Breakfast" I knew that Tokyo is in Japan and I assumed that the cast was Japanese. I don't know how to tell if someone is chinese, japanese, or korean |

I saw the video the first time because of the old forum. From seeing it, it would make seem like Japanese people go around callin us black people Nigga.
That's totally untrue in 7 years of living & working in Tokyo & 2 years of going there back & forth before that I have never been called a Nigga there. & I do know the Japanese derogatory equivilant.
I mean if British people went & made a video looking like they are white Americans calling everyone spics, Jews, or Chinks I think most people would look at it like I did.
I'm actually really betting no one Japanese was a part of it.
I'm doing video work too with Japanese actors & refuse to cast another Asian to play a Japanese role, unless it's not a speaking role & they have to really look Japanese to me & the staff.
